Office Ergonomics

Poor workstation setup can predispose computer users to neck pain, lower back pain, headaches, shoulder pain and other overuse type injuries.

The purpose of office ergonomics assessments is to optimise the ‘fit’ between the computer user and their workstation. Improving ‘fit’ reduces strain on the body and decreases the risk of musculoskeletal injuries. Your workers will also benefit from improved concentration and productivity as a result of the adjustments made to their setup and work behaviours.

Sedentary behaviour is a major public health problem. Adults who sit less throughout the day have a lower risk of early death particularly from cardiovascular diseases (Katzmarzyk P.T., et al. 2009). Our Ergonomist can provide advice to help promote movement within your workplace and improve the overall health and wellness of your workers.
