Pilates Classes

Pilates is a full-body exercise system that emphasises core stability, body alignment and awareness. With the help of our qualified Physiotherapists, clients perform strength, flexibility and range of motion exercises on specially designed equipment. Pilates may be performed by people of any age or fitness level in order to improve flexibility, range of motion and core strength.

All of our classes are run and supervised by a Physiotherapist to ensure the highest standard of instruction and understanding of your condition. Our Pilates classes are available at Camberwell, Carrum Downs, Clayton, Glen Waverley, Narre Warren, Bayswater and Rowville clinics and attract private health rebates.

Our pilates class numbers are restricted to ensure our Physiotherapists can check each person’s technique and keep a safe and fun environment.  The pilates classes are designed as a progression from our clinical pilates and for people wanting to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Our Camberwell clinic provides specific beginners and teen pilates classes. The beginners class is designed for people who are recovering from injury or have had no previous pilates experience. The teens pilates class is designed for teenagers with poor posture, flexibility or core strength and focuses on correcting these issues to prevent headaches, neck and back pain and improve strength and flexibility to help achieve sporting and life endeavours.
